Associate Scientist – Analytical/Stability

SalubrisBio is seeking highly motivated full-time associate scientist with experience in assay development and stability study for antibody drug product development. The candidates shall have strong ability in multi-tasking and are expected to work in a fast paced, dynamic and changing start-up environment with high degree of self-motivation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support method development, qualification, and transfer for capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), cIEF, CZE, and HPLC methods and provide expertise guidance to troubleshooting of method, testing, and instrument failures
  • Carry out physiochemical testing, such as CGE, cIEF, CZE, SEC, RP, IEC, and HIC, etc
  • Record data and make detailed observations accurately and timely. Provide scientific input and demonstrate critical thinking into experimental design and execution
  • Compile analytical data, perform data analysis, prepare technical report, present data to project teams, give oral presentation at internal or external meetings
  • Closely work with CROs for stability programs including data compiling and trending analysis
  • Prepare SOPs, follow policy and regulation, perform lab equipment maintenance
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring adherence to cGMP compliance
  • Closely work with other functional teams: purification, cell culture, formulation, and QA
  • Order and maintain laboratory reagents and supplies, perform tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS or MS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Science
  • BS with 0-5 years or MS with 0-3 years industry experience with focus on analytical method development and testing for biological products
  • Industry experience in analytical method development/qualification/transfer or testing or characterization of proteins, mAb or ADC
  • Hands-on experience with CGE, cIEF, CZE, SEC, RP, IEC, HIC, SoloVPE
  • Experience in stability data trending analysis, report authoring, SOP authoring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to pay attention to details
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and highly effective in team oriented environment
  • Able to timely adjust to project priority change
